Just wondering how many on this site are full time - earning their living from filming. Or are you part time with a day job or perhaps its just a hobby. Be interesting to hear.

Myself I do earn a living from filming although not necessarily wildlife filming.
I do a great amount for a travel company who promote their holidays with DVD's. This involves both landscape and wildlife plus a bit of culture filming of a particular region. I also do the odd wedding a very good source of income -- its amazing what you can earn on a Saturday afternoon!

Obviously when I'm away on a commission I do try to get some wildlife footage of my own, plus stills Just spent time on Isle of Skye in fact been up there three times in as many months - eaten alive but survived and got some stunning footage of Otters. A very lucrative and fantastic commission was down in the Falkland Islands some months ago - brought back some great footage. Shortly off to North Wales and the Peak District.
